Google Acquires Like.com

This has been announced on the like.com homepage. Google Have recently acquired Like.com for a rumored $100 million. Speculation into why Google purchased Like.com website rangers from Google wanting like.com’s team of engineers, to the domain name, to potentially starting a social network and also to compete with the Facebook Like social application.

Like.com has an annual turnover of $50 million so this acquisition by Google seems to be a smart one overall. Like.com have a break-through search technology into images where the other major search engines lag behind. Like.com is currently an e-commerce website which is selling clothing and accessories.
